Unrealistic Standards & Expectations in the Content World

Obsessing Over & Overthinking the 1 IG post you posted,

IS LIKE

 ….  Obsessing over the 1 Squat you did two weeks ago, and get annoyed that you haven’t seen the result yet.

REMEMBER: Results come from CONSISTENT actions over time. Zoom out your perspective. Look at where you are TODAY vs 3 years ago. Imagine the next 3.

Whenever I see The narrative of;

… Self-proclaimed experts throwing out “Do this and get absurd high ROI in absurd short time-frame”

… The Overnight Success,

… THE ONE Secret Success Formula,

… The 0-10K in 1 Month growth

I think for myself – we’re not a match. 🙅‍♀️🙅‍♀️🙅‍♀️

Anyone that has HONESTLY had “success” in their business (Yes, there’s A LOT of lying on the internet) – Know that results don’t come from “just this one thing” …

→ Results come from doing A LOT of the right things OVER TIME

In NO other industry is it expected to “have it all” within the second month of running a business.

The standard business view is that it TAKES at least 3 years just to become profitable.

(Sure, we can cut a lot of that time in the online world – as we often have significantly less operating costs than brick-and-mortar shops – BUT trust & brand take time to build)

Still, somehow people in the online world have convinced themselves that you should have it all in 30 days. 🤷‍♀️
